The new watch is 38 mm in diameter, made of 18K white gold, and presents the iconic Arceau round shape designed by Henri d\'Origny in 1978. The polished case is equipped with stirrup-shaped asymmetrical lugs, a bezel set with 82 brilliant-cut diamonds, an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a see-through case back, and is 30 meters waterproof.
A cashmere and silk shawl by Tong Ren depicts a horse taking its first steps in the sand. The images are innocent and pleasing to the eye, showcasing Tong Ren\'s fondness for simple lines, vibrant color blocks and wicker textures. Hermès brings together various handcraft skills to reproduce classic designs on the dial.
The light blue sky and sun are created using layers of enamel, while the horse is made from silk thread and leather inlays that replicate the wicker texture of the shawl. Silk threads on the horses, billowing blue clouds and yellow sand dunes give visual depth and dynamic texture. The leather inlay is just 0.5 mm thick and comes in a variety of colors, including Hermès’ signature bright orange. Butterflies flutter and flowers fall, adding vitality to the whole picture.
Through the see-through case back, you can admire the built-in H1912 automatic movement. The movement is manufactured by Vaucher in Fleurier (Hermès has held a 25% stake in the watch factory since 2006), contains 28 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and is decorated with " The H" pattern bridge plate and oscillating weight can provide 50 hours of power reserve.
