The Go Green initiative embraced by The Future Kids School aims at raising awareness about the growing hazards of global warming. All of us are responsible to make this planet a better place, not just for ourselves but for the generations to come. Many problems have a single solution - Plants. 

As with everything else that matters, a child should imbibe this responsibility not just as a task but as a lifestyle. In the month of February, the activity ‘My New Friends’ was designed for the UKG children to impart this learning alongside their curriculum. Children were gifted colorful, recyclable pots to sow seeds. Children were enthusiastic to get their hands dirty to sow the seeds. The pots were retained in the school premises where they could water the seeds in break times. Every child was anxious to come to school to check their pots. They not only unlocked the happiness in gardening but also had a hands on learning on the phases of germination. The pots were sent home after a week. The children continue to take care of their ‘new friends’. Reports that the children have started growing various plants at home after this exercise have given us the impetus to come forward with many such initiatives to give back to the planet. We thank the parents for supporting us in the positive upbringing of the children.
